in my town, His name is Sandor Petofi,
and the upper bust is Him, was younger,

This
picture shows a very old one-tower
church from the 13th century. I was
baptized there. On the right side part
of the City Hall, and an old Hotel
adjacent to it. Today there are
businesses and was a restaurant, maybe
changed now to something else. On the
Left is the second church in Town, a
two-tower church, on the main Street,
both Catholic. I went to school next to
it, where my High School still stands.
On the lower left is another old
building, which was a Bathhouse, with
therapeutic water. Today it is a
restaurant, or at least was, last time I
have been there.
I think, the economic
situation, had to change a lot of these
building, as
far as use is going, I think this one
changed to office Building. The town is
small, about 36 000 people, two main
streets, one goes North-South, crossing
the front of the City Hall, the other
East-West. Everything is close by. You
can walk to any place you need to go in
town. A Lot of people use bicycles to go
to work, if You want to go farther, Bus
& Railway are the main transportation,
but they also have a lots of cars.
Suzuki moved to
Hungary, but now the people who can
afford it are driving Western cars.
Before they were Russian made, called Lada. Just like the only foreign
language, You were able to learn at
school, was Russian; it was a must
language, besides Hungarian. Kati |

This
is my Home Town. I was born there.
It is named KISKUNFELEGYHAZA
and is about 70 miles south from the
Capital City of BUDAPEST.
Kiskunfelegyhaza lies between the
two largest rivers in MID EUROPE,
the TISZA and the DANUBE.
This
is my famous City Hall, showing on
the 1100th anniversary!
The building is well kept and the
most beautiful thing about it is the
roof. It being handmade majolic
tiles, with some native folk motives
on them. Kati

Send us your postcards. They can be about
any good thing you choose. Mail a Post Card from
any city Andre Rieu gives a concert in, or a
city where you travel to visit other fans.
Perhaps the city you live or grew up in.
Anywhere around the world. I will paste
them onto this page. Let's have fun and
share. Also, remember to email me your
concert story & photos. I will create a
page for you and you can help create this
tribute to our favorite Maestro. Have a
news item? Send it! I will be
updating the PhotoGallery again, so if you would
like any of your photos to be included, just
send them too. Kindest Regards, Webmaster
Sally.
